How does the world in EQ2 begin? The universe of EQ2 began right when the first guild beat the Plane of Time in the Planes of Power expansion of EQ1. For anyone who ever beat that zone, you'll rememeber that Druzzil Ro came in right before you freed Zebuxoruk. The Gods had willed that he should not be freed, and in order to stop you Druzzil set back time to before the Plane of Time was invaded.
